I am an avid dog lover and I have been a long time volunteer at various animal shelters. My heart would break when I would see so many unwanted and misunderstood pets with no one to love and care for them and give them good homes.The number one reason dogs are given up to animal shelters is behavior problems. So many of these dogs are destroyed because people are not properly informed and educated on how to handle, understand and communicate with their fellow canine.

I made it my goal to not only learn how to teach basic obedience, but to learn the art of human-to-dog communication and visa-versa. We need to understand how a dog thinks and why he does the things he does before we can ever develop a trusting and lasting relationship with our pet.

I am a "DogGone Proud" owner of 4 beautiful K-9's in my family. They are Murrie (left), Alexandra (middle), Roscoe (red dog) and Faith (black dog). They are all rescue dogs and are very important and loved members of our household. Everyone has a great time and lives peacefully together!
